My pool has dead already that has settled to the bottom and the pump accumulates it in a nice, neat circle. It is in a very fine powder form and the pool vac won't take it out. It passes through the bag. Any suggestions on how to get it out?

Vac to waste if possible. Otherwise consider adding some DE to your sand filter to be able to filter out the finer particles.
