DE only covering half of grid

I have a hayward DE3620 and the last two time I have cleaned only the top half of the grids have been covered by DE. The grids are only about 5 years old and I clean them regularly., Any advice on this situation?

I don’t know anything about DE filters, but I know who does! @Casey

Pretty normal.. The DE on the bottom just sides off when you drain the filter..
