Daisy chain 1.5" pipe?

You might be able to, although it gets tricky with Bestway and Intex products that have slightly different (proprietary) sizes. @cowboycasey might know. Why not just run a PVC line from the skimmer to the pump and do away with the cheap flex hoses? You can install unions on each end for easy disconnect during winter prep.

Thanks Texas for the reply.

For future searches here is what I did to extend the hose...

The Intek pump uses a 40mm connection. PVC connections are 1 1/2" connections. If you go on Amazon you can purchase an adapter that converts female 40mm to female 1 1/2". I added a length of 1 1/2" PVC with each end having a 1 1/2" threaded connector. Used 2 of the adaptors at each end as well. Then connected 2 easy to find Intek hose lengths. One from the pool outlet connection to the adaptor and the other from the pump outlet connection to the adaptor. The length of PVC in the middle I ziptied to the metal supports. Easy and cheap to replace if I have issues with the pipe wearing.

I would add pictures but the forum keeps saying my pictures are too large for the site.

*A quick note! I drove around for 2 hours to pool shops. As fast as the word Intek left my mouth I was dismissed. If you have the same issue as me call ahead so you know you're not wasting your time for parts.
