CYA went to zero in one month? Is that possible?

So I had a very busy late May and early June and my pool was neglected. The last time I touched it was May 15, when I measured CYA at 40 and added a little to try to get it up in the 70 range.

It's a saltwater pool that generally keeps a pretty steady level of chlorine when the CYA is right.

After that test I was very busy with some projects and was travelling and really didn't touch the pool at all. The water is very cloudy. I tested it today and am getting zero CYA. The test doesn't turn cloudy at all. I added some bleach over the last couple days knowing it would need it, and Chlorine is reading about 7.5 ppm.

The reagent I'm using for the CYA test is best by June 2023, so is it actually possible the CYA all disappeared in that month of neglect?
