Hi All - A couple of questions. How long should you wait after adding granular CYA before retesting? I remember once reading it was a week but now I thought I remember reading a day? Also question #2 do we do the glancing back and forth method or staring at the dot method? Thanks!

Wait at least 48 hrs to test CYA after adding stabilizer. Do you add granular stabilizer via the sock method as that is the best to disburse it.
I always use the glance type method to read CYA level. I fill to a given line such as to 80, look, then fill to 70 line then look, etc until not able to see the dot. Then select the reading where I last saw the dot. This ensures i always record CYA in decade numbers.
