i usually perfer liquid stabalizer on my route even tho its more costy i like instant results however i now have a new 60k gallon pool with cya of 5 and its recomending almost 5 gallons of liquid which is way to much, it says i can do 12lbs granular however only one skimmer works and i need to to disolve fast chlorine is dropping fast any advice to get it to disolve fast> pool has 3 jets so may try the sock method, but i have also used walmarts cya before and there stabalzer feels so much more thin and always disolves so fast compared to my wholesellers they provide.

Granular using the sock method will not let you down. Provided the CYA is genuine, I don't think manufacturer matters at all.
You'll be able to squeeze 50% of the CYA out of the sock after just an hour. But in front of a jet, you can also just leave overnight and it'll be dissolved and gone by morning.
