I've been a lurker here for several years now . . . and it was here that I learned about using borate - which combined with my conversion to salt chlorination several years ago allowed me to enjoy using my pool instead of spending half my free time messing around with chemistry. (Actually the pool belongs to my two golden retrievers, but they let me use it.) Came back here the other day when my Hayward H-series heater stopped working and presented me with a "bd" error code. A link led me to the service manual and reading through the various potential causes led me to the likely culprit . . . a blown FC-4 fuse. Simple fix.
