I was reading about csi but my test kit does not have all the tests I guess to do that. I downloaded the pool math app but lots of questions I dont know the test results for etc. I have the simple blue box kit that has I think 4 tests. Is there another test kit I should have? My tests for the 4 I can test are all good, and water is clear, no issues really, but trying to stop calcium build up on tiles going forward if possible.

You need a proper test kit, see Test Kits Compared. I suggest the TF100. A proper test kit is needed to get the accurate water chemistry results needed to follow the TFP protocols.
