We just had our pool plastered with a NPT Polishedscapes finish.
We have several benches and steps around the pool. The edges did not turn out as straight as I was hoping for. I have no way to gauge whether it is standard for this to happen or if the installers were not as careful as they should have been.
The owner of the plaster company explained that it is a hand application & there are no tools on the market to make sure it goes on straight.
I am not looking for perfect, however, it was the first thing I noticed when I looked in my brand new pool
In my pictures it is not as noticeable, there is a step into the pool that was supposed to be square and it is definitely not anymore. (Gunite was nice and square)
Anyone with plaster or polished plaster have any thoughts on if this looks typical or not?
