Crazy levels.

Here is the situation. I am trying to figure out water of friends pool. Never saw this before. Pool is green.
FC .5
pH is yellow and unreadable. I would compare it to a fc5 color.
TA. Did the test and when I added the 5 drops to turn it green it went right to red. So I don't know what it is.
CYA is 40
I've been following this forum since I installed my pool. I am usually pretty good and fixing issues but this one has me stumped. Not sure where to start. Do I try to raise pH? If I do won't that increase TA? Obviously I know I have to slam. What do I need to focus on first
 
TA is zero or below. That means pH is 4.5 or below.

Add 30 ppm TA worth of baking soda. Run pump and brush well. Test TA. Repeat until you get a TA above 50.

If pH still shows yellow, add 0.4 pH rise worth of borax.

Follow the SLAM process.

This is typical of a trichlor puck treated pool.
