Hey everyone, long time lurker. Not sure if this is in the right forum. We ordered a new above ground pool, Hayward sand filter and pump in January and just got around to installing. The motor housing is cracked in a few spots on the end. I emailed poolfactory where we ordered everything from, waiting for their response now. In the mean time is this a big deal, do we need a whole new pump?

You need to plan on exchanging the pump. If it got smashed enough for those cracks you don’t know what other hidden damage there us.
