Crack in Pool plaster…how to patch it???

Hey Fam,

I am having an issue with my pool plaster in that there is longish, but thin, crack that is running down from a seat area in our deep end down the side of the pool (pictures attached).

We are needing to have the pool replastered soonish, but I was hoping to get some advice on possible solutions that could help us get another year or 2 out of the current plaster.

We are not loosing water or anything like that, so I was thinking of using an underwater silicone to seal up the crack.

Any thoughts???

And thank you 😊

I'd be a little concerned about what's causing the crack. DON'T use silicone to patch it - use the EZ patch referred to above. When you get the pool replastered get a full chip out and see if the gunite is cracked underneath.
