Cord of my Maytronics Explorer 30 remains tangled and is impossible to untangle

Hello all
The cord of my explorer remains tangled and seems to get worse weekly.
I laid it out straight under the sun 1 day, but that did nothing.

Any suggestions?

With the cleaner out of the water, unplug the cord from the control unit and holding the black connector stretch the cord out straight and twist the cord in the opposite direction of the current cord twist (i.e. untwist the cord). If the cleaner always twists the cord in the same direction, you can pre-twist the cord in the opposite direction so it does not get so bad.
