Moved about 5 tons of gravel today, including relocating the stuff that the PB spread where he should not have.
Borrowed an electric demolition hammer from a neighbor. Cheap Chinese $100 thing. Totally awesome toy, the state of Arizona should issue one to all new single family home buyers because of the concrete soil here. Dug the French Drain ditch deeper with the jackhammer. I might break up the concrete footer on the wall for the PB's "landscape" crew since I still don't think they have a clue how to drill the promised drainage hole. They were supposed to come on Tuesday, then Thursday then Friday to finish off.
Replaced the light switch for the pool with a TP-Link Kasa switch. Intermatic box acts too much like a Faraday shield. Will relocate it to a plastic covered switch box tomorrow. Nice being able to phone or "Alexa" control is, but the signal in the Faraday shield is too weak to be reliable.
Also... Solar covers work really well, but man are they a royal PITA.
Considering options, including building the ABS DIY one posted here.
Getting there. Hopefully I will close up this thread by the middle of next week...
