Confused on borax addition

These are the water test results I had this morning:
FC 4
pH 7.2
TA 100
CH 0
CYA 40
TEMP 66
30 ' X 52" round above ground pool.

My question is, the pool calculator shows the pH is outside the ideal range and to add borax to increase it. But the TA is high and I need to lower pH to drop it. Is the pH low enough that I need to increase it? If so, how do I do this without increasing TA?

Leave your pH alone. It will rise naturally with your high TA. If you want to help it up then aereate your water.

Once your pH gets towards 8 you can lower it to 7.2-7.4. Do that enough and your TA will come down. No rush to get that done.
