Confused by Poolmath app regarding PH

The app says - Recommended is 7.2 - 8.0 Ideal is 7.6 - 7.8 Current test is 7.5 Target PH is 7.4 (?) and is asking me to add acid for the last two days.

Seems contradictory, thanks for any thoughts...

TA is 65
FC is 1
CYA is something around 10 - I have been slowly adding CYA over last couple days going from 0 to some cloudiness in the tube but still not to 20. (My pool is about 75% shade)

FYI I am using trichlor tabs right now given my CYA is low and I'm supplementing with Liquid Chlorine when I can find it.

Apparently you have your target set at 7.4. Just click on the ph box and you can change your target.

You'd think I knew that already. SMH. I probably lowered it for a SLAM and forgot I did it and that it was user adjustable. I do hope there is a time when the pool quits making me feel stupid.
