Alice that is a good tip. We used a similar type of gloves when we applied the epoxy grout. But ours was powdered on the inside. Never thought of bringing them to a restaurant though
Pool is filled! yet there is 24 hours waiting time for the glue to settled before I can switch on the system, not a disaster but it would have been fun to started it up tonight.
It was like I suspected that I should run into problems finding salt to the pool. Here in our town was only 100 pounds available so I had to drive for almost two hours to get the rest of the 484lbs my pool needs to reach 4000ppm of salt. I poured in like 80% of it and will wait with the rest for tomorrow. Then I shall bring out my testkit and see what that can bring

I plan for a days job to figuring out how to use that device
The water is very clear just by letting the pool robot do it's work once a day together with some chlorine once every evening but it's cold though
West Virginia girl! I've read your post to Eva so she really would understand that she made the correct decision letting me extend the kitchen with a place for a fridge. But ever since I read it to her she keeps repeating something about a romantic dinner that she want's me to cook to her

Great Post Wvgirl! Much appreciated..
Howdy Howie! I coulden't resist.... I'm glad you like it so far but we only halfway yet, there is much more to come with everything around the pool. The more time I'm spending on this project the more fun things do I come up with that I can add to the list "can bee done when the money starts to flow again" if they ever will

Even if it will stay the way it is today I more than happy and feels much privileged to be able to pull this build through. When I saw my two daughters playing around in the pool this evening while I was pouring in the salt almost brought a tear to my eye. It just stroked me there on the pool edge that it was for them that I built it. It was an undescribable feeling see their smile on their faces.
I think we need a new thread on fitness!!! How did you get so sculpted???
Shaf! Right away I liked you after reading that above
It was meant as a joke, just want to clarify that if anyone (highly unlikely) didn't understood that :?
But to answer your question..... It's a straight diet together with hard work with the pool that made me lost 40 pounds since I started this project almost two years ago that you see in that pic.
I know I have said in the middle of all this that a job like the one I have undertaken is doable to do yourself. I have to make a disclaimer to that with the perspective that I have sitting here today. It's not something I would recommend someone to do themself. It has been tremendous hard work most of the time. Just try to describe when I was forming the pool walls and the boards weighed like 170lbs each and I draged them down in the whole myself and set them in place. Before that did I pick them up with a trailer behind my car and load and unloaded them by hand. Before I could use them did I have to clean them and fix all the wholes in them wich meant more carrying them around. After the wall was poured did I have to drag them up from the whole and then on the trailer with them and away to the dump, where I had to carrying them one last time

I can't count how many times I have lifted them but it't tons of tons of weight. Now wonder I'm thin
Regarding my training regime for getting definition is a walk on an empty stomach in the mornings the best way for me. I have also added a cup of coffey before I start the walk, I think that makes a real difference actually. The heart frequensy increases from the coffein and that burns the little extra calories.
Besides from that do I try to get the time to join two aerobic workouts each week and one or two gym workouts in between. I actually stopped gym training 1994 and have only started again for 6-7 months ago. But so far so good!
Here is some pics from today. I'm so proud so please let me show the same pics just once more atleast is there water all the way up on this set!!!
