Colorlogic V2.5 120volt led light replacement

I have 3 Colorlogic v2.5 led pool lights and 1 spa light. The spa & 1 pool light are not working. Colorlogic now makes V4.0 which is not compatible with my system.
What are my options or is there somewhere to find old lights? I was advised to step down fron 120 volts to 12 volts to use the universal lights.
Thanks for any help!

Hi Patbell,

The Colorlogic Universal Lights do have a Mode Called ColorLogic 2.5 & earlier mode: "Use this mode when installing your new light in systems with ColorLogic 2.5 & below lights. The Universal ColorLogic light
will be “seen” as another ColorLogic 2.5 & earlier light and will operate in the same manner as the others."
The problem is the Colorlogic Universal Lights are only available in 12V meaning you would need to replace all of your lights. You would require 3 of the Universal Colorlogic 12V LED Pool Light ($520 Each x 3 = $1,560) and 1 of the Universal Colorlogic 12V LED Spa Light ($450) Plus a 300 Watt 12V Transformer ($120) Total = $2,130

I'm not a huge fan of the LED lights that have an integrated LED Board instead of a replaceable LED bulb, the Hayward ColorLogic uses an integrated LED Board meaning that if the LED Board goes bad then you have to replace the entire light fixture. This is a labor intensive process and the complete light fixture is expensvie. An alternate option would something like this PureLine PureColors Light Fixture. I like this option because if the LED Bulb goes bad then this an easy bulb replacement and the bulb is $150 Vs. the $520 Complete Light Fixture replacement along with the labor intensive process of replacing the enrite light fixture.

If you went the PureColors route then you could stay with 120V meaning you would not need to purchase a 12V transformer and you would need these items PureColors 120V LED Pool Light Fixture 50' Cord ($389 Each x 3 = $1,167) and 1 PureColors 120V LED Spa Light Fixture 50' Cord ($299) for a total of $1,466.

Finally here is a Video On How to Replace a Pool Light which may find helpful. And no this was not shot in Hollywood, it was filmed in Sanford, FL!! (the same place as you =))

Patrick, thank you so much for your reply. I have been desperately trying to get info from various sources & I have not found much knowledge out there. I see you are in Longwood. I'll call on Monday to see if you can help me. BTW...I think I need 100 ft cords (I have a very large pool). Thanks again!
