OK I am responding to this because I need some pointers also. My pool was completely balanced all levels. They were perfect after the slam method have been maintaining it the past couple days water was still cloudy. I was told to add algae guard which the last time I added algae guard it worked. I just added that today. Is there any other suggestions since I have already balanced and maintain and still had cloudy water. Note-I didn’t use liquid chlorine Don’t know if that makes a difference.

It does. Large batches if cal-hypo can cause cloudiness for one. Others like phosphate removers do as well.
Pick one method and stick to it. Combining methods makes things exponentially worse. Obviously, we vote you follow TFP but it's your choice.
