You blow the main drain line and seal it 'off' to trap air in the top side of the pipe. Depending on how strong your blower was, you may even clear the pipe, but that one needs to be locked off. Then you blow out the skimmer line which is much easier to do, add antifreeze and plug / gizzmo it.
