I don't plan on putting in any algacide or anything unless this is really recommended. I planned on every month dumping in a gallon of 10% bleach. I also have a floater that I could fill with a few different things.
Trichlor tabs
cal hypo tabs
or cal hypo powder

Trying to get everyone's thoughts on what should be done.

It is not advised to add chemicals to a closed pool unless you have a means to mix the chemical into the pool water thoroughly.

Everything I’ve read within the forums is to slam it or use poly60. Pick one method or the other.

Besides, dumping chlorine above the SLAM level per the CYA can cause harm to the vinyl.
