Last weekend I came home from the lake and noticed there was a ton of oak pollen on my pool. My filter was clogged but still running. After spending 2 hours cleaning as much as I could out, I tested and noticed the Chlorine was pretty close to zero. I poured a half gallon of bleach in to get it back up and after a few hours running the pump on high and the robot, it cleared up. I bumped up my SWG to where I had been running at this point last summer (50% for 12 hours).

Three days later, I noticed it was starting to get low again. I didn't measure yesterday because I was busy and when I measured today it was down to 0.5 ppm. Should I jump right to SLAM or if the water is still clear, I can get it back up to where it needs to be.

I am thinking maybe I should SLAM because it did hit zero for some amount of time due to he pollen.

As always, thanks for your help.

SLAM Away, I do a SLAM if it gets below the minimum just to be safe... Just cause you can not see it yet it is coming... I love a 24 to 36 hour SLAM compared to waiting and have it go a week long :)

Just do an OCLT after 2 days and see where your at...
