Cleaning the top porting of an Intex pool liner

I am looking for something that I can clean the upper half of the liner (parts that wrap around the horizontal support poles) from the dirt and grim that wont have a big impact on the water's chemistry. I have a mit, just looking for what type of cleaner to use... Below the water line seems fine...

Dawn dish soap is about the best thing in life..

It will also kill bugs that get into the pool, I pour about a cup of dawn in my pool 2 times a year for water bug control

What type of dawn soap? Antibacterial? Heavy duty? Clear? Ive never heard of doing that but i may just try it out when i get home from vacation

Just the normal Dawn dish soap, the blue stuff
