Cleaning A20's pleated Filters

I bought an A20 from Marina a few months ago. The finer pleated filters came with it, and do a good job picking up dirt. However, merely rinsing with a hose does not seem to get the fine dirt trapped in the filters.
I tried the search function but did not find mind for a preferred way to clean the filters.

Suggestions?

I use a hose end spray with a fine stream to clean mine. Seems to work well.
