Water chemistry ;
visual condition : crystal clear
FC : 3-5ppm
CC : 0
TA : 70
PH : 7.6-8.2 use muriatic acid to control
CYA : 40 ppm
CH : 300
Salt : SWG avg 3600, Taylor K166 4400
Temp : 90° F
LSI : .01
Phoshates : 0
Nitrates : ?
Cell : Cleaned 7/15/22 it wasn't dirty at all.
Overnight FC drop : 1 ppm
Pool Math App says @2 lb CL output in 24hrs(RJ45 plus spec), 60% Power for 5.75 hrs should raise the FC 2 ppm. It worked like this since the install May 2021 and this season until I had the issue. Now I'm running it @100% for 6 hrs to get a FC increase of 2 ppm. After talking with Circupool a few times and eliminating the water, I sent the cell to Circupool. They say the cell is perfect and that if there's a problem with anything, it's not the SWG. The Circupool control module never shows an error. Since I shipped the cell, I've gone back to chlorinating with liquid chlorinator, the same way I've done it since 2011 when we had the pool built. As always, the FC will drop 2 ppm every day and every day I add 44 oz of 10% liquid chlorinator to keep my FC levels between 3 and 5 ppm.
Question : If the 44 oz of NaCLO raises the FC 2 ppm day after day as expected, why doesn't the 5.75 hrs @ 60% SWG raise the FC 2ppm as expected?
