Circupool RJ-45 classic O-ring size

$9 is not an arm and a leg.

4x62 is the correct size, and Viton is a good O-ring material for chlorine.

The actual size is:
62mm ID
70mm OD
4mm width

They are available on Amazon for 5 for $7.99...not much savings...

You need to determine why the O-rings are tearing. That's not normal.

Are you lubing the O-rings with silicone lube (like Magic Lube II) and not lube with teflon in the mix (Magic Lube I)?

I figured it out....needed to lube everything more, including the nuts, which were almost impossible to turn. Ended up cracking the housing before figuring this out. So now I have to replace that.

Also, I went to Leslies and compared the sizes....the O-ring size is 2.25" ID, 2.50" OD and 1/8" thick. I'm sure the one PoolStored linked would also work.

Are you sure this is the right size for the Classic? I believe you cut and paste from the post below, but I think this is the size for the Plus, which is different.
