Who selected the Omnihub for you? The Omnihub is a basic low end automation panel targeted at the existing pool retrofit market. Hayward says " Hayward OmniHub is the easiest way to add smart control to a pool and spa. " The code words are "add smart controls" which implies a simple existing pool.
The Omnihub does not have any high voltage relays which is what you need to turn on/off equipment like an SJ45.
Any other options @ajw22 ?

Actually, I am going through all of this by myself....... hence all the questions that I make over here.
..... I went with omnihub (I think pentair is better), because my equipment (vs pump and filter) are hayward, and I was told that they are not compatible with pentair.........The omnilogic is way too much money for my budget, and I couldn't find anything else.........you don't think that omnihub will work for my equipment??? must I go with aquarite (about $2,000)?????...... all I want is to be able to control everything easily in one place (and maybe online), instead of each machine separately...... and to add a Swg that you guys recomend over the inline clorinator that I got

Your Hayward pump locks you into Hayward automation. Then you need an Aquarite to control the SWG.
An Aquaplus would have done more then the Omnihub + Aquarite.

is the aquaplus still a system for sale or is it discontinous???? anyone know where I could get it???
with the omnipl do I need to purchase the aquarite (the swg) as well???

No, Omni PL #HLBPLUS4W comes bundled with a Tcell 940.
The OmniPL has built in networking and app control which I don't believe the Aquaplus does.
