Chlorine keeps dropping

That creates just 0.8 ppm FC per day in your pool. That would not be enough in a pool during swim season.

The 12 hours at 80% creates 3 ppm per day. That would be a normal to below normal FC usage during swim season.

It worked perfectly every summer until now. I don’t get it.

If you passed OCLT with the SWCG in the off position then the uv is consuming the FC. Are your reagents expired or left in a hot place once too many then maybe the tests are inaccurate.

No unfortunately not. My tests aren’t expired and I keep everything inside my house. I would love to know what has caused this drastic change.

When coming back from vacation I was very surprised to see it had dropped from 6/7 to 4. This was with running it 12 hours a day at 80%. I was expecting it to be 6/7 or higher.
