Chemical values too high :(

Odd. The addition of acid is lowering the TA. It is a chemical reaction that cannot vary. So I suspect your testing will catch up to it soon.

Thanks again for everyones help. Everything is going very well so far :)
By now the TA dropped to 110ppm.

Values from this morning:
FC 4.5ppm
CC 0.4ppm
PH 7.6
TA 110ppm
CH 275ppm

I ran out of acid 2 days ago so I turned off the waterfall. 2 days ago the PH was at 7.8 today it is 7.6 does that mean if I don't run the waterfall the PH will decrease? My assumption was it would stay about the same.

Do I need to SLAM because of the cc? hard to tell if it's .2 or .4ppm

CC below 1 is of no issue. Use a 10ml water sample for your FC/CC test. Each drop of reagent to clear is 0.5 ppm.

Your pH will not lower. Just a testing variation. With our TA the pH will always rise.

You will fight pH rise and TA control with continuous aeration. I would suggest testing pH daily (primarily from April to November) and adding small amounts of acid to lower pH to 7.6 and no lower.
