CH increase

Hi!

It's possible for the CH to increase from 275 PPM to 675 PPM in two weeks? My Ch was 275 PPM on July 2. Today is 675 PPM. Is this possible or just chemicals going bad? I have the TF-100 kit. Purchased last year. My water is filtered and has a descaler so not heavy water. On June 15, i had to add calcium hardness because it was only 200PPM. Any advise will be appreciated.

On 6/15, What products did you add to increase CH? How much did you add and how did you add them?
What other products have you added since 6/15? List them all.
How is the water filtered and descaled?

It could me testing error as well.

675 is almost exactly 2.5 times your initial reading. I’m guessing that you mistakenly tested with a 25 mL water sample instead of 10 ml the second time

Hi!

I tested 4 times same result. I used attached product whatever amount was needed to get to 250 PPM . I dissolved powder in a bucket and spread around pool. I tested 3 days after and it was 250 PPM as desired. Beside this only added PH down as needed.

Wow! You are a genius and i am a dumb Rear... i cannot believe i made this mistake...i guess i should not drink until i do my testing! Thanks so much for your help!
