Dive down with a Philips head screw driver...You can use a dumbbell to hold you down. FOR CLARITY, DO NOT ATTACH WEIGHT TO YOUR PERSON. ONLY HOLD ON THE DUMBELL. Make sure the pump is OFF, and you have an observer capable of rescue operations.

You guys came here wanting a clear pool...nobody is imposing it on you...don't cry when you didn't do the required work, and the pool doesn't clear.

We did it!! The FC dropped from 24 to 23 last night!!

CC is 0
Pool is clear

Now do we let the FC levels drop to the normal range for our CYA? Are we okay to swim? Our toddlers have been waiting!

Yup.

Are we okay to swim?

You've been able to swim with clear water the whole time. FC needs to be between min and slam for your CYA, and you need to be able to see well enough to rescue a swimmer. (Or be rescued yourself). Slam is less harsh than tap water. Many of us go to SLAM for parties and the guests may even remark how nice it is with no chlorine smell or stinging eyes. We snicker to ourselves and don't tell them.
