Can't wait for spring!

The pool has been running on autopilot all winter. Just a little bleach and an occasional puck to keep FC up. The robot takes care of everything else. We had some beautiful weather yesterday and I'm getting excited for spring!

Based on my salt test, I've dumped almost 5k gallons of rain water over the winter. I don't even want to guess where my CYA is. Probably less than 20. I'll test it once I get ready to "open".

I almost always open up to VERY low CYA in the Spring and fight to keep it up in the pool over the Spring due to the amount of rain we get.

Spring is close! Keep an eye on your water temps!

Bring on autumn and winter I say. I’m building a house and in mid summer that’s just not nice. Out on a scaffold that’s to hot to touch. I love cloudy days.

Less than 2 weeks ago I could walk on my pool, now I'm hearing the familiar hum of lawnmowers and just fertilized the yard. Spring is coming.
