Can't Prime after Restart

I restarted my pump while the deck jets were open. Now I can't get the pump to prime. I've never had this happen, but I've also never started the pump with the deck jets on. Advice?

I'm an idiot - or the kids are. One of them stuffed a toy in the skimmer blocking the flow. It was just a coincidence with the deck jets. I spent an hour messing with it. But glad it's working now.

Glad you caught it though before it burnt-out the motor or got severely plugged in that line.
