You’ll know. In the spring and fall there is a lot more crud falling than now. With above ground circulation / skimming being what it is, most of your crud will sink. Adjust as necessary when your pool tells you.
The biggest mistake people make is trying to argue with the pool. Do what it tells you. If you need a little more FC, add it. Don’t tell the pool that yesterday wasn’t so bad. The same goes with brushing/ vac-ing. My kids were my first line of defense for finding slippery spots (liner needs brushing). Cuz they somehow can touch every inch in 3 minutes flat.

You should buy a broom for each of them as they get in the pool and say when you find a slippery spot use your broom!
Where does everyone keep their muriatic acid? Right now I’m keeping it in the garage but the fumes are so bad when I open it I’m wondering if I should keep it a different place? I do wear a mask and all the appropriate protective equipment but I just wanted to get some input. she’s too busy swimming around to interact, so she’s a sweet shark she likes to go around and see how many pool toys fit in her mouth
She actually doesn’t even need anyone else in the pool, she will swim around by herself, but sharks are very territorial
So I soaked the filter cartridge in cascade pods put it back in and the PSI is still 18 which is over 25% it’s baseline. How do I do with a TSP bath? Is it mixed with water? Overnight? Hm It doesn’t really seem too, should I wash it in the muriatic acid just to be on the safe side or would that hurt it if there’s no scales on it?
