This black notched plastic piece from the 3way diverter has dry rotted and cracked. I cant find a replacement part. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Part #8 is what you need - internal diverter. It's all one piece.
Be sure to also replace the two small shaft O-rings and the larger cap O-ring as well.
Use pool lube on the O-rings during assembly.
There are rebuild kits available that include the internal diverter and O-rings.

They are brand specific, so get one for your brand of valve. Stems are all the same, the diverter portion is different If that is a Jandy, get one for a Jandy.
