Can’t clear cloudy water

Balance pak 100 to raise alkalinity
Lo’n slo to lower ph
Burn out pool shock
Filter brite to clean filter
You’re not going to like this one- biogaurd power floc. On the recommendation of the pool store I was going to. I let it sit for 24 hours with no change and vacuumed to waste slowly and carefully and had instant regret when doing it.

After none of those worked I decided to buy the Taylor test kit and go with you guys, Don’t hate me lol

This is baking soda, and you didn't need it. Now your TA is high. However...no need to worry about it or to ANYTHING to reduce TA. Your pH will rise over time, reduce it with muriatic acid. As you do this, your TA will come down.
Lo’n slo to lower ph
This is sodium bisulphate. Dry acid. Don't use it in the pool, it adds sulfates. Use muriatic acid to lower pH
Burn out pool shock
This is CalHypo. It chlorinates and adds Calcium to the pool.
Filter brite to clean filter
This is a pool store potion. You really don't need to clean a sand filter unless it is gummed up (assuming that is what you have). If it is gummed up because of pool store potions, you likely need to deep clean, or replace sand. Given the chemicals you listed, they would not gum up a filter.

Do you remember any of the products you added last year, by chance?

Oooof. No idea how much floc got to filter.

I'd recommend you deep clean your filter...

Three "easy answer" for cloudy water.
1) you added something that clouded the water, we've ruled that out.
2) Next is algae. You need a good test kit...Link-->Test Kits Compared And you need to follow the SLAM process to clear the pool. Link-->SLAM Process
3) The filter has channeled or something else is causing the filter to not filter the particles.

There are other "non easy" answers but they likely don't apply in this situation.

Can you post pictures of your water?

Thanks for all the help guys!!! You’ve made a believer out of me! I’ll be slamming from now on. Passed all three criteria, and the kids are enjoying the pool, fc is at 9.5ppm and I’ll check ph tomorrow and adjust then I’ll turn my chlorinator on when fc drops to 3
