I am a newbie, but read through the threads without finding this basic question.
I've been given gratis a working, one-year-old Hayward Aqua Rite Pro and wonder if I can just dispense with the chemical-adding unit and just use the unit to power a Hayward TurboCell T-CELL-15? Hayward assures me that the T-cell is the the right model for their Aqua Rite Pro. Hayward, however, could not answer this question.
I have a pool team that can handle all the testing and chemical addition/monitoring themselves. They also need the work.
If this is possible, I will use the two-part system as a back-up to the pool-guys' company-supported chlorinator.
