Camlock fittings for suction or pressure side.

Can you give some links to the camlock fittings you are thinking of using?

Anyone ever used or see a problem. Would just make my winterize and startup a little easier.

Thanks

I don't see where there would be a problem. In fact I really like the idea and don't know why I didn't think of it. Unfortunately my SWGC has molded in unions. But I could just crank them down tight, and add camlocks after them.

I have used them for years to connect my garden hose to the hose and no problems. Would still use the cheaper black poloy camlocks for the pool in 1-1/2 size.

Are you using the GHT (garden hose thread) camlock adaptors, or have you found actual barbed camlocks that fit a garden hose?

Or are you really going industrial and using 1" hose to water your garden?

I am using the GHT poloy camlocks. Some I have NPT then a brass adaptor. But they do make barbed ones in 1/2" and 3/4" barbs. And even 3/4" camlocks with a choice of 1/2 or 3/4 barb

for the GHT ones
