Calcium Deposits

Moved from here.
I have the same “deposit” drips in my pool. I’ve lived here 7 years and they just showed up about a year ago. The pool wasn’t new when i moved in, but not sure if it had been replastered at any point.
I took a very flexible putty knife and at a angle, worked from the bottom up. I was trying to avoid popping off the thicker part of the deposit, which is at the top, and taking a layer of plaster with it.
They come off easily, and looks to be no damage to the plaster.
i don’t even want to deal with the root of the problem, so I’ll pretend they are a normal occurance.

Hello Marie and welcome to TFP! So it sounds as if you are satisfied with manually scraping off the excess material for now. If you have questions later, post back with a full set of water test results and we may be able to give you more tips to help manage the water. Thanks for posting.
