Never have used the tab feeder. My PB forgot we ordered a SWG and installed the tab feeder by mistake. Are you still using that tab feeder?
You would be better served by removing the tab feeder - and the cheap and restrictive check valve between the tab feeder and SWG. Also install a heater bypass to allow running the pump at a lower rpm which still satisfying the SWG flow switch when the heater is bypassed.Never have used the tab feeder. Thanks. I’ve longed for a heater bypass but haven’t gotten to it yet. I’m not sure what or where the restrictive check valve is that you mentioned. What is its purpose and is it possible to point it out? Thanks! You would be better served by removing the tab feeder - and the cheap and restrictive check valve between the tab feeder and SWG. I see. I hear ya. ThanksView attachment 629076
The acid in the tabs eats the feeder, so a check valve is installed to stop the leaching acid from oozing upstream. But the acid once out of the feeder promptly starts eating the check valve, until that fails too.
Tab feeder/check valve : Halt there !!
Cyanuric Acid: lol. No.
Its much less of a deal having never used the feeder, but if you're out there cutting and gluing, pitch it for less restrictions.
