So I plan to do the bonding of my pool and I am comfortable with everything that needs to be done, but looking at my skimmer, I am a little nervous to drill a hole in there. My biggest question is will the skimmer basket still fit in there after the metal plate is put in? It looks like a pretty tight fit. My skimmer is the Hayward SP1091LX. Would love to hear from anyone that had my same concerns and found that it worked just fine for you. Thanks and everyone have a good weekend.
