Building your own pressure test kit

Want to pressure test some of my lines, was trying to track down a thread where someone has put together their own kit, but couldn't find anything.

There is a kit for sale on the internet that looks like this:


This kit goes for around $220. Wouldn't it be fairly easy to put this together for a lot cheaper? Anyone had any luck with that?

I've seen that one before as well. I'm sure there are others. I don't see why someone couldn't make one of their own, but it would need to be cost effective and worth a person's DIY time.
