Some of the staff have some good green to clear threads out there. But yeah, the one who wisely decided to drain their swamp because of the unknown history only to find the deer in there, that was a good one.

Can we assume that only plain bleach/liquid chlorine is being used? No scented, splashless, Chloromax, etc products?

MKNAUSS: I see in the reply from you (show above) that you were making sure that no splashless bleach was being used.....why is that? I'm just wondering because I knew no scented ones but I wasn't aware or didn't remember not to use splashless and I think that's what the last gallon was that I just used. Or actually it might have been "less splash" instead of splashless but I assume if splashless isn't good then less splash isn't either. Right?

Anything other than PLAIN bleach has additives in it...........pretty smells, less splash or splash less, the new Chloromax, etc. They can cause problems to the water such as foaming, bubbles, gunk build up, etc!

Oh okay......well that probably explains why I had bubbles in my pool this morning because I hadn't before. Guess I need to stop and get some plain bleach on my way home tonight....huh? Thanks for the info

Or call around and see if a local pool store had liquid chlorine! That is what I use. I am VERY lucky in the store I get it from is right on the way home so is very easy to get as needed.
