Hello,

We have a 10-year-old Pebble Tec pool and somehow over the winter, there is dirt built up which I can not remove. I tried https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004VU92KE and it helped but not completely, there still be patches of darker spots. I am considering trying https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06Y61GMY8 or https://www.amazon.com/AquaAce-Stainless-Bristles-Scrubbing-Concrete/dp/B0779M7W1K (I am somewhat worried about stainless steel bristles especially since we have tile in the pool).

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Vadim

PS: I am also thinking about ALPHA iQ+ in addition to Polaris 280 I currently have.

I would not use a metal brush. It can damage the surfaces of your pool.

Dirt does not stick to the wall of a pool. Are you sure it not scale, or iron / copper staining?

So it is not only me who worries about the metal brush.

This year whole floor of the pool was much darker than ever, with whale brush over a few days it became much better and about 40% of the area is back to normal. Our pool water is very low in calcium (it is hooked up to auto-fill, which is past water softener) and I don't think it is iron/copper staining since it is consistent everywhere.

Thanks,
