Broken handy pda

Hey guys. New here and new to pools.
So I just bought a house and the exsisting pool had a Jandy pda 8265 which controlled the pool and the spa. Unfortunately the remote is no longer working and I need a way to fix it. My pool guy said that the unit is unavailable and I need to upgrade the whole entire circuit board to newer version and get a newer model remote.
Is there any plug and play options avail where I don’t have to get a new ciruit board or does anyone know if I can get a new pda anywhere? Just looking for the most cheapest option which would let me control the pool remotely.
