Bringing PH up, Borax or Soda Ash?

Hi all, which is better? Borax or Soda ash (same as baking soda?).
Does a solar cover effect PH?

At a TA of 100, neither. The cover is keeping the pH low. Remove it for a few hours at least every other day and the pH will normalize.

Brushing and other agitation help to get the CO₂ out of the water.

It's like opening a soda and shaking it to make the carbon dioxide come out.

What test kit do you have?

Hey thanks. I just ordered new reagent 4. My K2006 test hasn't changed in a few days.
My k1000 shows different results.
I'm more inclined to go with the K1000 test result for PH today. Will follow up after I get new reagent.
