Hi Guys,
Was curious if anyone else has had issues with breaker tripping in your electrical panel somewhat frequently causing your pump to not come on? I notice it happening mainly after a big rain.

If your breaker a GFCI? Is it a breaker overload trip or a GFCI trip?

You have Siemens breakers?

Matt,

Assuming your pump is on a GFCI breaker, I suspect it is a moisture issue, but the first thing I'd want to check is to ensure the pump is the only thing on the breaker.. If you have several items on the pump breaker, besides the pump, it can cause false trips.

My pool builder actually installed a Pentair Breaker in my EasyTouch and knowing how tight he is with money, I'm sure he did it for a reason.

If it is related to moisture, then you have to ask yourself, where could moisture be getting into any equipment run off of the pump breaker.

Thanks,

Jim R.
