You’re making me nervous. How far from the elbow? You can use the length of the cell as straight pipe for the flow switch then enabling you to place it close to the cell. Do not place it right before the elbow.

My sand filter discharges from the top. To make the water flow up through the cell will mean a huge change in my plan, another trip to the hardware store and probably moving the whole system to a bigger shed!! Think some more my friend before I start gluingAnd make sure the water pumps up through the flow switch and cell, not down ward. That way cell stays in water when the pump turns off and air in the lines will collect on the output of the cell but now that I think about it more, maybe it’s not a big deal either way.
Are you talking about the entire cover, as if you were trying to reconfigure the jumper terminals for 120 versus 240 voltage? Is there a trick to opening the cover on the control panel? I can’t get it to open without prying it with a screwdriver!!
I don't think it matters. If it can horizontal or vertical, it can be at an angle as well. The cell will be full of water. The important thing is proper orientation (cord end first).does the cell need to be complete vertical or horizontal? Can it be at an angle?
I’m not giving up yet!!After reading this entire thing & not hearing if it finally worked was kind of a let down lol
o the new one didn't work either?I’m not giving up yet!!
