I thought the wiring would.be easy from changing out a pentsir LA01N to polaris PB4. The first pic is wiring hooked up to the old pentair and I have a pic of the new pump. I see the ground green wire Can't confirm.where the 2 hot wires goes. I tried it close to the brown and the bottom yellow, but the breaker flipped on. Any help you can offer would be appreciated. Should be 220v.

Post a pic of the data plate on the PB4 motor. It shows the electrical connections.

If the power is 240V then the hot wires connect to the yellow wire terminals.

The motor comes wired for 240.

If you have 240 volts, then it is wired correctly and you connect power to Terminal # 1 and Terminal # 6.

The motor looks used?

Is the motor new or used?

The motor was made on February 25 2019 Monday (56th day of 2019).

Most likely the motor is a used motor based on the age (4.5 years old) and the dirt and corrosion on the terminals.

I got it to work. Its 240 volts. Thx.

Bought it used from someone who got a robot a while back. Seems to work well with no weird noise, so we'll see how long it last.
I'm thinking about getting a robot, but for the price I got the motor, this was a good short term solution.
