I'm planning an owner/builder in ground pool next spring. In my planning research I came across the requirement for bonding of the wire mesh in the new decking. My question is will I need to do some kind of bond to my existing patio that will not be demo'd nor does it have any wire mesh in it? I know the nearby steel patio cover posts will need to be, I'm trying to figure out a way that is aesthetically acceptable. TIA
